Sealing rings

Sealing washers
Our sealing washers reliably seal screw caps, crucibles and bottles, and in turn reliably protect the contents against contamination, moisture and leaks. They are the ideal solution for cosmetics, food, beverages and other sensitive fillers.

Our
materials
Alveolit
Alveolit is a closed-cell polyolefin foam, ideal for sealing washers and sealing rings. Its excellent chemical and physical properties mean it can be successfully used for cosmetics and medical technology as well as in industry.

Special types for the highest demands:
The Alveolit SF 0500 type has been specially developed for food packaging and sensitive areas.

Tri-Seal PE foam
TRI-SEAL® is a patented three-layer co-extruded material consisting of a closed-cell PE foam core covered on both sides with a PE-EVA layer. This is a closed bond that cannot be delaminated.
TRI-SEAL® has been specifically designed for use with aggressive media. The foam core ensures the elasticity required for use as a seal. The solid surface prevents evaporation of the medium.
Tri-Seal complies with EU 10/2011 and FDA requirements
and is available in grades F217 - 5 and F217 - 3

Tresylene
Tresylene is a three-layer material with a PE foam core and double-sided lamination with PE film. It can also be coated with PET film or Saranex film. Tresylene is particularly suitable for packaging cosmetics and food.

PTFE (Teflon)
PTFE is an unbranched, linear semi-crystalline polymer of fluorine and carbon with exceptional properties.

PTFE film is available in the following thicknesses:
- 1.0 mm as material for seals
- 0.2 mm as material for coatings, for example on ALVEOLIT or POLYCEL
Safe-Gard plus
Safe-Gard plus is a two-piece material consisting of a layer of wooden cardboard with a wax-based separating layer and a film combination of aluminium foil, PET film and a layer for sealing against PE.
Advantages:
This material can be used to create a leak-proof seal. It also makes the packaging truly original!

Lift `n`peel
Lift ´n`Peel™ is a material for sealing with induction. This material allows the sealing disc to be removed from the can or bottle without leaving any residue.
The seals are provided on the side facing away from the medium with a tab for removal, which is printed with a pictogram for instructions for use.
